Assignment 2: Design Document for Mobile Web Site
Description: Choose an existing Web site and design a mobile version of the site. Using principles discussed in class, choose which features and content to include in the mobile version, and redesign the user interface to accommodate a smart phone. The deliverable for this assignment is a document.
Assignment 3: Mobile Web Site
Description: Using your design documentation, develop a functioning mobile Web site that can be accessed by multiple mobile devices. Demonstrate your mobile Web site through a mobile phone.
Assignment 4: Design Document for Mobile Web App
Description: Considering a specific audience type and a specific need, conceptualize idea for an original Web application. Define your target audience, the need for the application, the business value for the application, and the requirements for the application. Develop a design document the addresses all these and the information architecture and technical specifications for the application.
Assignment 5: Mobile Web Application
Description: Using your design documentation, develop a Mobile application. You have two choices for execution for your mobile application.
1) Create a robust interactive prototype using Fireworks or similar.
2) Develop a functioning mobile web application with some or all of the functionality you have designed.
